Fox Subaru Macomb Teams Up to Support Local Community - Shellee B
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Macomb, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Fox Subaru Macomb is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Fox Subaru Macomb have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 02/10/2025, Fox Subaru Macomb donated 204 shoes/socks to Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team (MCREST). These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

Fox Subaru Macomb Shares the Love - Deb S
Fox Subaru Macomb recognizes the special relationship between people and their pets and joined forces with Michigan Humane to celebrate that bond and help raise critical funding to support animals still on their journey to a loving family. James, Leslie, Sam, Matt and the Fox Cares fundraising team attended Michigan Humane’s annual Mutt March at the Ford House on May 17, engaging with supporters and pets with games and prizes, high-fives and goodwill. Together we celebrated Fox Subaru Macomb and Subaru’s Share the Love campaign success with a check presentation. On behalf of the thousands of animals in our care, thank you Fox Subaru Macomb for making our work possible!

The Humane Society of Macomb would like to thank Fox Subaru Macomb for a fantastic Dogs at Your Dealer Adoption Event. Of the twelve puppies and dogs we brought, six were adopted, and the other six are all being inquired about. Partners like Subaru truly make an impact throughout the community and help our mission reach animal lovers all over. The Humane Society of Macomb strives to be a voice for the voiceless and with partners like Subaru can continue to Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Rehome.
Fox Subaru Made a Dog’s Day! - Deb S
Our friends at Fox Subaru Macomb truly do love pets and put a great deal of elbow grease into giving some special dogs and puppies the opportunity to find a new home. We were honored to be welcomed to bring an adoptable dog to Fox’s one-day adoption event at the dealership on Oct. 28. We brought Raven, a sweet 6-month-old shelter dog waiting to meet the family of her dreams. Raven enjoyed the day out of the shelter, spending time on a leash walking around meeting new canine friends with similar hopes and dreams, soaking up the affection of all the people. It would have been a great day for Raven if she returned to the shelter at the end of it. But it turned out to be the perfect day for Raven. She was adopted by Lisa and Jim! This is not the end of the story for Raven. It’s the beginning of a joyful life of companionship, friendship and family. Thank you for making it possible, Fox Subaru Macomb!
Subaru Dogs at our Dealer Adoption event with Golden Retriever Rescue of Michigan! - Erika B
We at the Golden Retriever Rescue of Michigan (GRRoM) couldn’t be more thankful for our friends at Fox Subaru of Macomb. We had the amazing opportunity of partnering with Fox Subaru for our Subaru Dogs at Our Dealer Adoption Event! We could not have accomplished this amazing event without the support and partnership of our friends here. The Subaru Dogs at our Dealer event was an adoption event promoted by GRRoM to bring awareness to the Golden Retriever Rescue of Michigans mission and bring awareness to macomb community. At GRRoM, Our mission is to locate suitable adoptive homes for homeless and displaced Golden Retrievers. We are committed to educating the public on all aspects of dog ownership. This event allowed us to bring so many local foundations together to also promote this awareness and work together to help find some amazing dogs their forever home. Samantha Sutton was a key partner for the success of the event, we truly could not have done it without her support and hard work. Because of this event we were able to bring joy to families within the community and help find a handful of dogs their forever home. We are sending a HUGE thank you to our friends at Fox Subaru of Macomb for hosting us and all of our fur friends!! We also couldn’t have done it without the support of our location partners at Pet Supplies Plus, the Humane Society of Michigan, Macomb County of Michigan Animal Control and Saving Destiny. This event was truly an amazing event and just shows how supportive and caring Fox Subaru is to not only humans in the Macomb community, but also to animals too. We are looking forward to future partnerships with Fox Subaru of Macomb and again, couldn’t be more thankful for their support.
Fox Subaru of Macomb Helps Bring the Music to the Park - Lacey W
The Macomb Township Parks and Recreation Department teamed up with Fox Subaru of Macomb and other local partners once again to host the annual free summer concert series, Music in the Park. This event would not be possible without partners like Fox Subaru of Macomb who was also on-hand welcoming and interacting with 1,000+ guests every night of this 5-concert series. Fox Subaru of Macomb is more than a sponsor; they are a company committed to enhancing the quality of life for members of their community. From volunteering to clean our parks to offering their delivery truck as a stage for our kid-friendly concert that kicked off Movie Under the Stars, Fox Subaru of Macomb is always open to new ways to become involved.
Fox Subaru Macomb gives away a bike at National Night Out! - Matt B
National Night Out is a nationwide initiative that promotes police-community partnerships. Roseville, MI holds their annual National Night Out on the first Tuesday of August at Veteran's Memorial Park in the city. The event is heavily supported by local businesses and the community itself. Each year Roseville's NNO sees several hundred people come together to socialize and meet with police and fire, as well as enjoy free food and giveaways. The giveaways consist of school supplies like backpacks and pens, as well as adult prizes like car wash gift certificates. This year, Fox Subaru Macomb donated a 24" Huffy Mountain Bike for giveaway to a lucky student, and she was very happy with her prize. Fox Subaru Macomb Donates to Henry Ford Health Stem Cell Transplant & Cellular Therapy Program - Robin S
On June 4th, Matt Belz, Delivery Driver for Fox Subaru Macomb, was met enthusiastically by staff at Henry Ford Health in Detroit. These staff members were excited to accept the 80 blankets being donated through the Subaru Loves to Care program on behalf of their Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program patients who will be receiving them, as they know their patients will truly appreciate this kind gift of love and warmth. Personalized cards with messages of hope were also given to encourage patients through their difficult journey. Sarah Shore, Patient Resource & Education Coordinator, shared “As we strive to provide the utmost comfort and care to our patients, your contribution will undoubtedly make a significant difference. It's heartening to see organizations like the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society demonstrating such compassion and support for our patients. We appreciate you partnering up with Fox Subaru Macomb to make this happen.” Those in attendance included Matt Belz with Fox Subaru Macomb, Nurse Manager Haley Jacques, Clinic RN Anthony Meme, Data Manager Brianna Pierson, Nurse Coordinators Brittany Fulford, Kelly Walls, and Joi Horvath. Also present but not pictured were Patient Resource & Education Coordinator Sarah Shore, Patient Resource & Education Manager Carey Papalekas and Sidnei Austin, Community Outreach Specialist with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Every Friday, Michigan Humane does a special Facebook Live feature to highlight the lovable qualities of shelter dogs who’ve been waiting the longest to be discovered. On Friday, May 3, the talented sales team at Fox Subaru Macomb did the honors! Aspen, Jackie, Sam, James and Matt used their considerable sales skills and love for animals to “sell” our four hopeful dogs -- Togo and Lilly, and Patrick and Horatio who were adopted the same day! Michigan Humane is deeply grateful for our partnership with Fox Subaru Macomb and our friendship with the staff. They always greet us with open arms and share a passion for pets and pet owners that is unmatched! On behalf of everyone at Michigan Humane and the thousands of animals in our care, thank you Fox Subaru Macomb!
